If the pull tab on your zipper inexplicably snaps off, a zip tie can make a great replacement until you can find something more visually appealing.
Whether it’s your winter jacket, your tent, or your travel bag, it’s not good when you can’t zip them up. That’s why Instructables user DamianTheGreat suggests you attach a small zip tie through the loop so you at least have something to grab onto. It might not be a bad idea to travel with a few in the bottom of your luggage or backpack, especially if you plan to go hiking or backpacking. Once you have time to find a nicer-looking solution, you can just remove the zip tie. If other zipper problems are getting you down, there are plenty of quick and easy ways to fix those too.
