Keep Cookies and Brownies Fresh With a Slice of Bread

If you have leftover cookies or brownies, you know they go stale quickly. Put them in an airtight container with a slice of bread to keep them fresh.

This is an old tip, but we probably all want our holiday treats to last longer. Put your baked goods in an air-tight container along with some fresh bread. Livestrong suggests putting a piece of wax paper on the brownies so they won't stick to the bread, too. The bread prevents the goodies from drying out and getting stale, which means you'll have a few extrad ays to chow down.
