If you've received a gift card you don't think you'll ever use, pay it forward. Give those gift cards to charity or a homeless shelter to help someone in need.
MarketWatch predicts that $750 million worth of gift cards will go unspent this year. Gift card donations may even be tax deductible depending on the non-profit you give them to. There's a high chance they can match the gift card with someone who actually needs it.
