We rated Virgin as the best airline in the U.S., so maybe it’s not surprising that they’re offering an awesome perk for the next several months: free Wi-Fi for Netflix subscribers.
In a press release, Virgin announced that they’re teaming up with Netflix to give access to its entire catalog of movies and shows via Wi-Fi. Starting Tuesday, you can stream your Netflix account on any Virgin flight until March 2, 2016. Passengers will have to bring their own device, but then they can open a browser and sign into Virgin’s ViaSat network. From there, they’ll enter their existing Netflix login or create a new account (with a free 30-day trail) to access Virgin’s Wi-Fi and stream anything from Netflix.
Not all airline Wi-Fi networks allow for streaming, and best of all, this is free, so it’s an all around sweet deal if you’re a Netflix user. Check out the press release at the link below.
