You’re on your way to the airport and it hits you: you left your phone charger in the hotel room. It’s too late to go back for it now. This simple trick will make sure you never leave it behind again.
We’ve all left something behind in a hotel room before. Maybe you sleep in late and have pack everything up quickly to make your checkout time. Or maybe your charger was plugged into an outlet out of view. Whatever the cause may be, this trick from the folks at the blog PureWow will keep it from happening again:
When you get to the hotel, unpack your suitcase and place it next to a wall outlet. Plug in your charger and wrap the cord around the suitcase handle. Leave it there for the duration of your visit.
Hotels are generally willing to send you your charger in the mail, but it can be a major inconvenience. Now when you go to grab your bag, it won’t be possible to leave your charger behind. It’s like putting your car keys on top of something you don’t want to forget when you leave the house.
