Pipe clamps are expensive and tough to store, but they are ideal when clamping wide material—like edge banding. If you don’t have any pipe clamps, you can build this adjustable clamping system instead.
These adjustable wood clamps are built using 3/4” plywood cut in three pieces. The end block clamps and anchors the wood to the board and the round piece rolls along the opposite end to secure the clamp.
This ingenious design is easy to build and will help give your projects a much more refined look.
