This Two-Ingredient "Cocktail" Is as Festive as It Is Easy

I like to keep the festive cocktails flowing until January first, but I don’t want to spend a ton of time playing bartender. This two-ingredient creation from FWx feels fancy without requiring a lot of work.

Made with a complex Amaro (I’d suggest a “medium” one like Averna or Lucano) and mint leaves, this refreshing, herbal beverage is greater than the sum of its two parts. Just throw an ounce of liqueur, about five mint leaves, and a bunch of ice in a shaker. Shake and strain. The result is a bracing, wintry, digestif with a ton of flavor that tastes much more labor-intensive than it is. Enjoy while looking at snow-covered trees or that fake fire on Netflix.
