What's The Best Record Player?

Vinyl records are still a small part of music sales, but they are on the rise. For those of us who have always loved them, that’s welcome news. Whether you have old records you treasure, you’ve always been into vinyl, or you’re just starting, this week we want to talk record players.

With any good record collection, whether you’re a DJ and just love hearing (or preserving) old recordings, you have records handed down to you from older family, or you just love the sound and are getting into it yourself, you’ll need a decent record player. We’re willing to bet you have some suggestions for us that are reliable, durable, and/or affordable. Let’s hear them in the discussions!

   Why: Explain why this record player or turntable is the one you adore. Maybe you own it and you love it. Maybe it’s reliable, or was handed down to you, or maybe it’s so durable you could kick it around and it’d still work. What makes it the one you’d recommend to others, and why? Make your case!

2. Don’t duplicate nominations! Instead, if someone’s nominated your pick, star (recommend) it to give it a boost, and reply with your story instead.
