Put a Business Card in Your Coat To Ensure Its Safe Return

If you've ever hung your coat at a bar or restaurant, you've probably walked out without it once or twice. Even worse, you might have walked out with someone else's coat. If you keep a business card in a pocket, you're more likely to get your coat back.

This suggestion isn't a guarantee you'll get your coat back, of course—but then again, neither are luggage tags. It won't deter a real thief, but it'll help someone with good intentions get your coat back to you. Plus, business cards are inexpensive, so you've got little to lose.
