iOS: Hopper is an awesome site that helps you plan ahead on airfaire deals, but the new iOS app takes it a step further, notifying you of price drops and letting you know when to buy.
The app has three main features that help you save money on plane tickets. The first is price prediction, which uses past prices and trends for comparable trips to tell you whether you should buy now or wait. The app also tracks price drops or predicted price increases and notifies you so that you can decide whether to purchase ASAP or hold off. If you're a visual person, Hopper's app also has a neat color-coded calendar so you can see at a glance which dates are better to travel during.
