How to Watch Every NFL Football Game This Thanksgiving

If you’re celebrating Thanksgiving at grandma’s house this year, then you may have potentially overlooked one important detail of your day: How you’re going to watch football.

There are three different games today. Chicago takes on Detroit and 12:30pm ET, followed by Buffalo vs. Dallas at 4:30pm ET, and New Orleans vs. Atlanta at 8:20pm ET.

The good news is all those games are being broadcast on major networks, so if grandma has cable or even a decent digital antenna you should be able to tune in on her television. Here’s a rundown of your options:

Television

Here’s the official rundown of each game and channel. The games should be available for free on those channels in most markets.

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, 12:30 p.m. ET on Fox

Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC

Station Apps

If your grandma doesn’t have cable but you do, then you can stream the games on the apps for each of the respective stations by signing in using your cable ID.

Streaming Services

All of the major streaming services offer access to Fox, CBS, ad NBC. The only catch is they don’t offer that access universally in every market, so you’ll want to double (and perhaps triple) check that your market has the station you want before signing up.

Every service offers a free trial so you can sign up and watch today and cancel the service tomorrow for no charge. If you’re in the market for a streaming service anyway, then the cheapest of the bunch is going to be Sling at $25/mo. Hulu with Live TV is $40 a month, and Fubo TV and Playstation Vue start at $50.
