Cook Everybody's Omelettes at the Same Time with This Boiling Technique

Multiple omelettes usually means one person has to do the cooking and then everyone can’t eat together. AllRecipes has the solution by boiling them in a bag, which lets you make up to eight omelettes simultaneously.

Take a resealable plastic bag, place it into a cup, and open the bag over the mouth. Break two eggs into it, take out all the air, and seal the bag. Use your hands to mix the yolks and white.

Open the bag again in the cup, and add other ingredients. Once again, take out all the air and seal the bag. Turn and roll the bag gently, as shown in the video, to mix everything together.

You can drop this bag into a large pot of boiling water, and cook it for 13 minutes. Carefully open the hot bag and push the omelette out on a plate to start eating.

Individually preparing eight such bags might take up more time than actually making omelettes though. You might want to consider breaking the eggs, whisking them, and mixing the ingredients like you normally would. Then pour that mixture into bags separately.

Of course, that won’t give you the precise recipe guaranteed by AllRecipes, so stick with their formula the first time. Once you do it right, feel free to experiment.
