If you do a lot of public speaking or presentations in front of people, Zoho Showtime could make your life (and job) easier. Showtime makes it easy to take questions from your audience, let them save slides or go back to see previous ones, and you can control the presentation from your phone.
Showtime is a new feature from Zoho, and it comes in the form of a mobile app and plugin for PowerPoint. Your audience can use the mobile app, if they have it installed, to “like” slides in your presentation they find most interesting, and to submit questions to you in real time that you can put up on-screen during a Q&A section and answer as part of your talk. Similarly, they can save your presentation for offline viewing, or go back a few slides to review something they missed, all without interrupting you to ask you to go back, or nagging you for a copy of your slide deck after the talk is over.
Similarly, the “presenter’s” mobile app lets you get out from behind the podium and control your presentation from afar. While you’re running the show on a laptop or computer, you can also see everything on your smartphone, see which slides people like, or check in on questions in real time. Even after your presentation is over, you can look back and see what people in your audience liked the most about your talk, and what they looked at the most.
Best of all, the whole thing is free. The PowerPoint plugin you’ll need for your slides is free, and the mobile apps—both for the presenter and the audience, available for iOS and Android, are all free. Hit the links below to check them out.
