Job sites are easy to come by, and depending on your career, some are better than others, but the one thing they all have in common is that you’re left on your own to figure out if the company is a good place to work. WorkDifferent is a new job board that wants to change that.
What makes WorkDifferent special is that the team behind the site look into the promises and reviews of each company listed to make sure they treat their employees well, or at least offer them the kind of benefits and perks that make for happy employees who have the freedom to balance their work and their lives the way they choose. This isn’t all free lunches and team happy hours either—they look into leave and vacation policies, career and job growth opportunities, and commitments to corporate transparency. The site is new, which means there aren’t a ton of jobs just yet and most of them are pretty tech-centric, but they’re on the way, and after talking to the founder I’m sure there’ll be more and more as the service grows.
