Smoothies (and smoothie bowls) may be one step away from baby food, but unlike the stuff in the tiny jars, you get to control what goes in it. (Which probably means ending up with something closer to “Tutti Frutti” than “Turkey Dinner With Vegetables,” but to each their own).

If you consider yourself a smoothie connoisseur, you may be interested to hear about a new position that pays $25,000 to tap into your knowledge of blended fruits and vegetables. Here’s what you need to know.

The job

The successful applicant will become the first-ever Smoothie Bowl Sommelier for Ninja, purveyor of powerful blenders. The gig pays $25,000 and lasts for roughly two months. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a spokesperson for the company and their products
  • Developing custom, thick smoothie bowl recipes and aesthetically pleasing imagery of smoothie bowls, which will be made available on the company’s website
  • Sharing tips for making smoothies
  • Hosting a virtual event to help consumers add “smoothie bowl master” to their resumes

How to apply

The first thing you need to do is submit a video introduction explaining why you’re perfect for the job, a resume reflecting your “passion for smoothie bowls” and a photo of the most creative smoothie bowl you’ve ever made.

Though you don’t need prior smoothie-specific experience or training to perform the duties associated with this role, applications will be reviewed against predetermined qualifications, including:

  • A discerning palate
  • Demonstrated passion for food (especially smoothie bowls) and a healthy lifestyle
  • Obsession with creativity and food that looks as beautiful as it tastes
  • Spends bulk of free time in the kitchen or the grocery store
  • Interest in acting as a spokesperson for the company and its products
  • Comfortable hosting virtual events
  • Registered Dietitian credential is a plus
  • Health/wellness focused social media presence is a plus
