The Easiest Way to Gift Wrap a Circular Object

‘Tis the season to mull over how we can wrap certain gifts without them looking as if they had been attacked by a wild animal. Rectangular gifts and even awkwardly-shaped objects have easy solutions, but folding the creases at the ends of a circular gift? Oh boy. Luckily, here’s an easy method you can try.

After measuring how much wrapping paper you need to get around the length of the object, the trickier part is figuring out how much paper is needed to cover the ends. According to the video, you first locate the center of the circle and make sure the side of the wrapping paper reaches that center (about halfway up). Now you have enough paper to make a series of creases to (neatly) go around the circumference of your gift. It takes some time and patience, but the end result looks like a snazzy pinwheel sort of pattern.
