Generation Tux is a web service that lets you and your groomsmen coordinate formalwear for your wedding, or any other special event. From suits, tuxes, shoes, and accessories, the service makes it easy to make sure everyone gets what you’ll all wear for the big day.
Groomsmen’s outfits seem like they aren’t as complicated as bridesmaid’s dresses, for example, but making sure you’re all on the same page keeps everyone (including the bride) happy. You can browse suggestions put together by stylists for Generation Tux, or build your own based on the styles and options available on the site. Then, save your picks under an “event” that everyone can view when they’re ready to rent.
Renting online is ideal if you have a specific look, like lapel piping, that you want, but not every shop in town may offer. . Generation Tux also offers a measurement guide so that you can select the right fit. You will need a tailor’s tape, but if you don’t have one they’ll send one to you. You can send your rental back for minor alterations (along with photos of yourself in the suit or tux) or Generation Tux will reimburse your up to $20 for alterations you get done on your own.
They’ll send your rental to you seven days before the event date, just so you can make sure it’s a good fit and everything, and you have three days after the event to send it back. They’ll handle cleaning. If you need to keep it longer, they charge a $20/day fee.
