When you change your address, you can get your mail forwarded for a little while, but eventually you’ll need to let a lot of places know the old-fashioned way. We’ve put together a list to help you remember them.
Below, we’ve made a checklist you can use to remember all of the places that may need to know that you’ve changed addresses. Everywhere from the USPS to Costco may need to send you things in the mail. While forwarding your mail works in the meantime, over time you’ll need to change things over manually. Some may be as simple as changing your address online, others may require forms mailed in. Also, keep in mind that some places that charge you monthly payments may not be able to do so if you change your address at your banking institution, as address information is sometimes used to authenticate your card usage. To make all of this simpler, we put together this handy checklist. We’ve even included a few extra lines so you can write in something if we don’t have it listed.
We’ve also included a printer-friendly version of the checklist in PDF form here.
