Lenovo is offering a significant deal on their newest ThinkPad P14s 4th generation laptop. It’s currently going for $1,279 (down from the list price of $2,199), but right now, you can get it for $989 when you use the promo code “WSDEAL13" at checkout.
There is no indication when the promo code will expire, so don’t delay if you’re interested in scoring the deal. The only limitation is that you can’t get more than five laptops with the promo code.
A powerful laptop at a great discount
ThinkPad P14s 4th generation is the newest generation of the computer, and was released this past summer. Debuting nearly a decade ago, the P series has been a reliable line of general work laptops, and the P14s is no different.
The P14s comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U Processor, on the high end for a portable work laptop. If you’re not familiar with the AMD processors, the AMD Ryzen 7 is comparable to the Intel Core i7. These machines are tailored for those who want better productivity and functionality than the mid-range i5 and Ryzen 5 laptops. You’d also be getting 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.
The anti-glare screen offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution, which is better than the standard 1080p you see on most laptops at this price point, but not the 4K displays you see at the high end. For price comparison’s sake, Best Buy is selling the same ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 laptop—but with an Intel Core i7 processor and half the RAM and internal storage—for $1,492.99.
