Apple’s 2020 M1 MacBook Air is currently $250 off on Amazon ahead of the online marketplace’s huge Prime Big Deal Days savings event. The 13-inch laptop normally retails for $999, but you can get it for just $750 right now. And while three-year-old tech might seem like nothing to get excited about, the M1 Air remains an exceptional machine, even at this late date.

There’s no guarantee on how long the deal will last, so if you’ve been holding out for a decent price on a great MacBook Air, this is as good a chance as any to strike. The M1 MacBook Air still delivers great performance, and offers more than enough oomph to justify its retail price, let alone a 25% discount.

The M1 Air has dropped to $750 in the past, so this price isn’t exactly new, but it’s yet to go lower. You’re unlikely see the price drop any further during Prime Big Deal Days, so you shouldn’t worry about missing out on a better deal on this particular laptop during Amazon’s much-hyped sale.

The 13-inch M1 MacBook Air offers 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of internal storage, which our friends at PCMag called an outstanding value. It’s also a laptop I used daily for three years before upgrading to my current machine (a 15-inch MacBook Air) a few months ago—an upgrade spurred by a desire for a larger screen, and not because of any issues with the older MacBook Air’s other specs or performance.

This laptop is ideal for students, home use, and those looking for a solid, lightweight laptop for general work needs. The $750 deal is live as of the time of this writing, but Amazon has been known to change its prices randomly, so don’t be surprised if this one doesn’t last.
