Xbox Game Pass Ultimate just got a bit cheaper—at least for a month. For a limited time, you can get a month of Xbox’s online games and Xbox Live for 84% off: CD Keys is selling digital codes 84% off from their usual $15 price.
What is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate?
As we’ve covered before, Game Pass Ultimate has a lot of perks:
Xbox’s monthly (or yearly, depending on your preference) gaming subscription, Game Pass Ultimate, gives you access to a library of more than 400 Xbox games (including Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S) and PC; EA Play membership (additional games in the Electronic Arts catalog); Xbox Live Gold membership to play online; and access to the Xbox Cloud Gaming, which gives you the ability to play games remotely on your phone, tablet, or computer. You will also be eligible for free games each month and discounts of up to 50% in the Xbox store.
You can see a complete catalog of games here, including Xbox, PC, and those compatible with phones.
The fine print
You cannot stack other codes into this one-month deal, so you can’t combine it with other deals or codes, and you can only use it if you’ve never had a subscription (or if your current subscription has expired). If, however, you still have Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass prepaid time, you are still eligible for this deal. CD Keys says when you upgrade to Ultimate, that time will be “automatically applied” to your new key. Keep in mind, unless you cancel the subscription after the month is up, you will be charged $15 automatically for the monthly subscription. Also, the codes expire on March 31, so make sure to use them before then.

How can I get a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $2.79?
To get the deal, you’ll need to make an account with CD Keys or check out as a guest. The 25 alphanumeric Game Pass Ultimate key will be sent to as a link to the email you provide. The link will send you to your account on CD Keys, and under “Games purchased,” you’ll see the one-month deal with the “Get code” option.
When we first attempted to input the code, we received an error from Xbox saying, “This code wasn’t found...” We contacted CD Keys, and within two hours, they responded that they had been receiving similar issues themselves and from other customers, claiming the Xbox service was experiencing some issues and recommended we try the code again later. A couple of hours later, the same code worked on the second try.
