You Have a Couple of Options for Your Philips Hue Black Friday Deal


The Philips Hue home lighting system is one of the great aspirational geek home decorating items of our time, but unfortunately, it's rarely discounted. Well, that trend continues on Black Friday, but if you buy today, you can at least get a freebie with your order.


You've got a couple of good choices here, depending on your preference. Over on Best Buy, if you buy a $200 Philips Hue Starter Kit (either A19 or BR-30), you can get a Bloom accent light for free. The Bloom normally sells for $80, and sits on a shelf or table to cast indirect light in the color of your choice against a wall.


If you don't have any use for the Bloom, Amazon will toss in a free BR-30 bulb with the purchase of an A19 starter pack. Just add both to your cart to see the discount. The BR-30 bulb normally goes for $60, but Amazon sells the starter kit for $11 less than Best Buy, so the pure monetary difference between these deals is pretty minor.
