And if you’ve ever seen a popular dog meme and thought, “hey, my dog is just as funny,” now’s your chance to prove it.
In order to find the most meme-worthy pictures of the country’s dogs, Vet Naturals is holding the “Ultimate Dog Photo Contest” which comes with a $1,000 cash prize. Here’s how to enter.
What to know about the contest
It’s a pretty straightforward photo contest—except better than most because it involves funny pictures of dogs. So what, specifically, does Vet Naturals have in mind?
We’re looking for amusing, meme-worthy photos of your dog. The photo can include crazy eyes, doggy smiles, costumes, props, or funky outfits—you name it! As long as it’s hilarious and sparks joy, it’s eligible.

And are you one of those people that doesn’t actually have a dog, but really wants a dog, and gets probably a little too attached to their family members’ and friends’ pups? Well, this time there’s no need to feel left out, because you can enter too! (Just be sure to check with the dog’s person first.)
In addition to winning $1,000 for the top photo, the prize also comes with a free three-month supply of Vet Naturals products, so if you don’t have a dog yourself, you can pass that perk along to your model.
The fine print
It’s not entirely clear what happens to the photo after one is selected, but according to the contest’s terms and conditions, “the winner agrees to the use of his/her name, image, and video in any publicity material.”
The company does note, however, that any personal data relating to the winner “will be used solely in accordance with current federal and state data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.”
And there appears to be more to the job, though that part’s a little vague too. But we do know this:
The winner will be required to complete certain tasks designated by Vet Naturals LLC. If the winner does not follow through with the tasks required of them, they will not receive the prize of $1,000 and a three-month supply of Vet Naturals products.
How to enter the contest
To enter, people who are at least 18-years-old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident can fill out this entry form—including attaching the photo.
Entrants are also encouraged to share their dog picture on either the Vet Naturals Facebook page or on Instagram, tagging Vet Naturals. But note that the only way to officially enter the contest is by filling out the form by April 9th.
