Finally, we have the Goal Zero Portable Torch 250. This charger features a small, integrated solar panel, as well as a hand crank to charge its 4400mAh battery. Once it’s charged up, you can use it as a flashlight, a floodlight, or a red emergency light, and also plug your gadgets straight into its USB port for a quick charge. Unlike the Switch 10, you won’t be able to hang a solar panel off your backpack to charge this while you’re hiking, but there’s something to be said for having fewer parts to keep up with, and today’s $62 price tag is within $2 of an all-time low.

Anyone who’s spent any time watching Food Network or studying cooking knows that the ThermoWorks Thermapen is basically the be-all, end-all of instant read digital food thermometers.
