Amazon’s Fire tablets are on sale for Prime Day. You can find some models up to 54% off, as well as many of their other devices, including Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cube, Echos, and Kindles, on sale right now. Unlike Amazon’s Kindle e-readers, Fire tablets are not dominating their side of the tech industry, but you can access the same streaming services, surf the same web, and use the same apps as all the other big name tablets, but for much cheaper.
Amazon Fire tablets on sale for Prime Day
Amazon has two types of tablets: the more basic Fire Tablet line and the Fire HD line with HD resolution. The Fire Tablet line has only one size, the Fire 7, with the 12th generation being the latest one (7, in this case, refers to the screen size of the tablet measured diagonally in inches). The Fire Tablet HD has three models: the Fire Max 11, Fire HD 10, Fire HD 8.
Amazon also has a “Plus” model for their tablets that gives you hands-free and faster charging, “show mode,” which turns your tablet into an Echo Show (a display screen that acts like an extension for Alexa), and a better rear camera.

Amazon also has a line for kids, the “Fire Kids,” for ages 3 to 7, and “Fire Kids Pro” for ages 6 to 12. They come with a case, a two-year guarantee, one year of Amazon Kids+, parental controls, and other features.
