What's New on Disney+ in February 2023

Disney is doing nothing much to subvert February’s reputation as the worst month of the year. The Disney+ release calendar for February 2023 has arrived and on it you’ll find...nothing much that stands out, aside from the streaming premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Feb. 1), just in time to (maybe) coincide with the announcement of Angela Bassett’s Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Other than that, the streamer is short on marquee premieres this month while everyone waits for season three of The Mandalorian to drop March 1 and deliver us more of the Baby Yoda we crave. In the meantime, you can at least enjoy straggling episodes from the most recent seasons of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and National Treasure: Edge of History, with the finale of the latter arriving Feb. 8.
