These Airports Now Offer On-Site COVID Testing

Air travel during the holiday season can be stressful, so if you have the option of flying out of or through a few different airports, you may want to consider their amenities before booking your flight. In any other year, this might involve looking into the availability of lounges, or checking out the restaurants in your terminal. But this is 2020 and it’s not about being comfortable—it’s about survival.

As you’re planning your holiday travel, the COVID-19 pandemic is probably top-of-mind. And while certain airlines have implemented testing policies, it’s not yet the industry standard. Now, some airports—both in the United States and other parts of the world—are offering on-site COVID-19 testing. Here are the airports that have this very-2020 amenity, courtesy of an article in Travel + Leisure.

There may be additional airports offering on-site COVID-19 testing announced as it gets closer to all the end-of-year holidays. And, of course, if it’s possible to skip the flights (and holiday gatherings in general), that’s the safest option during the pandemic. If not, getting tested is the way to go.
