OPAQ, the network security cloud company, announced a partnership with CNA, one of the largest commercial property and casualty insurance companies in the United States, to offer a cloud-based cyber security solution that will enable CNA’s cyber insurance policyholders to easily deploy and enforce advanced security policy across wide-area networks (WANs).

“As cyberattacks continue to escalate, companies are looking for effective and easy-to-manage cyber security solutions that have demonstrated security controls,” said Brian Robb, Underwriting Director and Cyber Industry Leader, CNA.

“Providing policyholders with access to OPAQ’s market-leading security-as-a-service offering, coupled with CNA’s suite of cyber liability insurance products and risk control resources, will help clients effectively prepare to manage and mitigate cyber threats through a holistic risk management solution.”

“Deploying and managing the security tools needed to protect themselves from cyber threats is beyond the reach of most small and midsize businesses,” said Glenn Hazard, Chief Executive Officer, OPAQ.

“Attack surface is rapidly expanding. Ransomware and other sophisticated threats are increasingly targeting these small and midsize businesses. OPAQ uses its cloud platform to make advanced, fully integrated network security more affordable, flexible, and simple to manage.

“Our powerful analytics and reporting also make it easy for companies to assess their security posture.”

Although the OPAQ cloud platform scales for nearly any size organization, it is ideal in small and midsize businesses that need “big company” security that is affordable, flexible and simple to manage.

The OPAQ Cloud integrates a private network with direct, secure Gigabit connectivity to ISP exchanges with enterprise-grade security capabilities including next-generation firewall, endpoint protection, analytics and reporting powered by trusted, industry leading brands and OPAQ intellectual property.

It enables companies to consume network security-as-a-service on a subscription basis with no hardware or software to deploy or manage.
