Verizon Is Adding 1GB of Data to Prepaid Plans If You Use Auto Pay

If you’re on a prepaid plan on Verizon, you just got a cheap way to score more data. Verizon will add 1GB to your plan if you activate Auto Pay on certain plans.

Currently, you can pay $45 for 2GB or $60 for 5GB on a prepaid plan with Verizon. However, the company’s new program will add 1GB to each of these plans (for a total of 3GB and 6GB respectively) if you activate Auto Pay.

If you’re in a situation where you’re not sure you can use Auto Pay (like maybe you’re living paycheck-to-paycheck), remember you can ask to have your due date moved to a time when you’re more sure you’ll have money in your account.
