Chill Your Soda Faster by Wrapping it with a Wet Paper Towel

If you’ve got a can of soda or beer that you want to chill fast, wrap a wet paper towel around it before tossing it in the freezer.

As the video shows (at around the 0:50 mark), a soda can wrapped in wet paper towel and put in the freezer for 15-20 minutes will cool about 10 degrees more than an unwrapped can. Of course, if you’re in an even bigger hurry, nothing beats a bucket of ice water with a little salt.
