Lrn Helps You Learn to Code at Your Convenience

iOS: Learning to code can be overwhelming. Like anything intimidating, it helps to break the challenge up into smaller, digestible tasks. Lrn helps you do that by guiding you through quick lessons and mini-quizzes so you can learn Javascript.

We’ve given you a full beginner’s guide to coding, and this app would be a decent supplement. It includes seven major sections, and you navigate through quick lessons in each one. At the end of the lesson, you’re met with a small quiz to test your knowledge.

The app is very similar to previously mentioned Swifty. The main difference is it teaches you Javascript instead of Swift. Like Swifty, the tutorials are optimized to work with the iPhone, so you don’t type in bunch of code to practice. It simply offers a succinct explanation of the basics, and you tap or type to run the code.

This is ideal for learning at your convenience, and while it might not be a replacement for complete lessons, it’s a solid complement. The first set of lessons are free, and you can pay $2.99 in-app to access each additional lesson.

Right now, the app is only available on iOS, but an Android version is coming soon. On Product Hunt, Lrn’s founder says they hope to include more programming languages in the future, too. Check it out for yourself at the link below.
